The small lightweight Boomgear MP800 is a fully functional MP3 Player with 256MB of RAM, an FM tuner for receiving your favorite radio stations as well as an integrated FM transmitter. The MP800 is also capable of recording voice as well as FM radio from the built-in tuner. An innovative feature of the MP800 is the integrated FM transmitter. Today, fans of MP3 players have a variety of options from which to choose. But the MP-900 is much more than an MP3/WMA player. With just a couple of button presses, it's an FM tuner too. Or an FM recorder. In fact, you can even record your own voice via its integrated microphone or capture other sources via its line-in jack. Other amenities include a five-way user selectable EQ, automatic FM station scanning, song title/information display and nifty three-color LED backlight.
One of the unit's most intriguing functions is its "broadcast" capability, wherein it wirelessly transmits its music to any nearby outdoor FM radio - whether you're on the beach with your boombox or in your car. The MP-900 connects to your computer via a USB port and provides eight hours of continuous playback from a single AAA battery.
